Pb (Prospering backyards) is a project that uses the power of art, science, and community to address the severe case of lead contamination in the soil caused by Exide Technologies in areas of East Los Angeles, Boyle Heights, Vernon, Commerce, Maywood, Huntington Park, and Bell. Urban Soul Farmer is remediating soil with scientists in residential backyards.

The edible landscape at Mercado la Paloma is curated by Urban Soul Farmer for food security, education and wellness. Mercado La Paloma is located in the Figueroa Corridor of South Los Angeles -- a neighborhood that is full of creative and hard working entrepreneurs, community spirit, artists, musicians and cultural traditions.
